Target Population: Individuals with HIV and their Partners. The POWER (Positive Wellness & Renewal) Program provides individual and group level education and support to people living with HIV and their partners. Wellness Case Managers and Health Promotion Specialists help clients manage life and HIV more effectively by helping address relationship issues, substance use, individual sexual expression, adherence to HIV medications, and other health and wellness issues. Target Population: Asian and Pacific Islander Gay Men and Transgendered Persons. Multi-faceted intervention that includes social support and community-building (monthly theme-based events, annual events), a general health and wellness program (nutrition and exercise information and support), treatment and education workshops (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced), group psychotherapy (a series of three 6 to 8-week sessions offering support and problem-solving skills), and individual psychotherapy. Target Population: yout with HIV. Choosing Life: Empowerment, Action, Results (CLEAR), funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, is a project that seeks to learn more about youth living with HIV, their relationships and health, how they cope with problems, and how drug and alcohol use impacts sexual and other risk behaviors that may lead to the transmission of HIV. CLEAR will also assess the cost effectiveness of delivering these interventions so that they may be widely disseminated to HIV/AIDS service providers across the country and around the world. Early Intervention Programs

Early Intervention Programs (EIP) are located in 35 California counties and is dedicated to prolonging the health and productivity of persons with HIV and interrupting the transmission of HIV. EIP clients receive medical treatment, transmission risk reduction counseling, case management, psychosocial assessment, and health education, delivered in a team-based setting. HIV Transmission Prevention Project

Target Population: Individuals with HIV enrolled in EIP Programs. The HIV Transmission Prevention Project (HTPP) consists of intensive risk reduction counseling to individuals enrolled in Early Intervention Program (EIP) sites who are identified as being at high risk for HIV transmission and who require more than EIP's standard risk reduction interventions to achieve behavior change.
